A full day south through Herzegovina — depart Sarajevo 7:30am, sleep in Mostar. Plan B adds Počitelj and is the recommended route.

Bosnian food is cheap, hearty, and distinctive. You’ll mostly eat čevapi, burek, grilled meats and drink coffee slowly. Most small places are cash only.
